First NZ trip report

It's very nice and lush here. Strange to see all the palm trees and tropical stuff while
walking toward the GLACIER.

In other news, i just heard via the LJ grapevine that i've been laid off. Along with my entire development group! This means i won't have to deal with the "vacations over, now what the heck was i working on?" problem. Not going to think much more about that at the moment; what's the point in that?

Theres a lake 70 km from here that is calling our name. Time to leave this internet box.

Laid off?! Wow! I got laid off from a dot-com while I was taking two days off to work on the BAGC haunted house, but you're half the world away!!

Maybe it's time to extend the vacation? It's snowing up here...
