simple things that are satisfying
Mar. 3rd, 2025 05:44 pmFor the past few months, i've been making my own English Muffins. It doesn't save any money, as perfectly reasonable ones can be had at Market Basket for cheap; It doesn't save any time as the process takes a day or two (mostly in the form of "do something for a few minutes, then wait N hours until the next step"...), but it does leave you with muffins that are noticeably tastier than what you get in the store, and it's just more satisfying knowing that you made that batch yourself. That is all.
