well, it took less time than joining FTP.

I'm not quite sure what i will end up posting here.
I suspect that posts will be infrequent, but then
again, i could be wrong. Maybe i'll end up lying
awake at night mumbling "Cant sleep, LJ clowns
will eat me". We'll see.

the thing is... when you check your friends page, there's a lot less spam, and folks are beginning to catch on about not overdoing the memes.

but, one could have a long discussion about the passiveness of blog-style communication.

if not LJ, some other privatized form of usenet would've evolved by now. it's where the collective brain has gone. And the collective brain will probably move on from here too.
