lj comment weirdness

Has anyone else had the problem where you reply to a lj comment, and LJ completely messes up the scoping of your reply, instead posting it as a comment on the top-level entry? This has been happening to me quite often lately. Going back through the browser cache confirms that i selected the right "Reply to this" link, and that LJ did the wrong thing with my post.

Yes, it does seem to be more likely if i've used "preview" and "spell check". But i think it's happened a few times without, as well.

I never use "preview" or "spell check" (live dangerously!) and it happens to me FAR more often than I'd like. I'd say it's been going on for a month, maybe 2?

It's also more likely to happen to me if I click "reply to" on a comment, and then change my mind and click "reply to" on a different comment and try to post that. It will wind up posting as a reply to neither, choosing the top-level post instead. Maybe this is what feste_sylvain meant?
